Deposits for Private Appointments
To ensure the smooth and efficient running of our practice and to provide the best possible care to all of our patients, we have established the following policies for appointment cancellations and missed appointments:

NHS Appointments:
- We kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an NHS appointment. This allows us to offer the time to other patients who may need it.
- If you cancel or fail to attend two or more appointments without giving 48 hours’ notice (without a valid reason) within a 12-month period, you will no longer be eligible for further appointments at our practice. This policy is in place to ensure fairness to all patients and prevent the misuse of appointment slots.

Private Appointments:
- A non-refundable deposit is required for all private appointments at the time of booking...
- If you cancel or fail to attend a private appointment without providing 48 hours’ notice...
- For multiple missed or late-cancelled private appointments...
- Failure to attend a private appointment without any prior notice...
General Guidelines:
- We understand that emergencies can occur; however, consistent failure to provide sufficient notice will lead to the implementation of these strict policies.
- Patients who repeatedly cancel or miss appointments without valid reasons are disruptive to the practice’s scheduling and affect other patients who require appointments.
- Failure to adhere to these policies may result in being removed from the patient list or being restricted to NHS appointments only, depending on the nature of the missed or cancelled appointments.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these policies. They are in place to ensure fair and equal access to all patients and to help us continue providing high-quality care.
